Who we are

Small on purpose

CC Electric is the electrical side of Creative Consultations LLC, based in Federal Way, Washington. It is veteran-owned and operated, and it is deliberately small: the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up, reads your panel, pulls the permit and meets the inspector.

That structure is the whole value proposition. There is no dispatcher deciding how urgent your no-power call is, no commissioned salesperson arriving before the electrician, and no lead-generation service reselling your phone number to four competitors the moment you fill out a form. The trade-off is honest: we work a roughly 40-mile radius from Federal Way rather than claiming all of Washington, and we say no to jobs outside it.

What we do

  • Service and repair — diagnostics, dead circuits, tripping breakers, device and fixture replacement.
  • Panels and services — replacements, 200-amp upgrades, subpanels, Federal Pacific and Zinsco removals, meter-base work.
  • Remodels and additions — kitchen and bath circuits, code corrections, lighting, rough-in through trim-out.
  • New construction — single-family, townhome and multi-family, including blueprint coordination with GCs.
  • EV charging — Level 2 installs with a real load calculation, including load-managed and dual-charger setups.
  • Generators — interlock kits, inlet boxes and automatic transfer switches sized to the actual starting loads.
  • Older-home work — knob-and-tube replacement, aluminum branch wiring remediation, grounding retrofits.

How we work

The part most contractors skip

1

You get an actual answer on the phone

Text a photo of the panel or the problem. Most of the time you will hear back the same day with a real opinion, including "you do not need what you think you need."

2

We look before we quote

Panel upgrades, EV chargers and generators all depend on a load calculation and on where your meter and grounding electrode actually are. Phone quotes for these are guesses.

3

We pull the permit under our license

Which means the inspection record attaches to your property and shows up clean at resale. We meet the inspector so you do not have to take the day off.

4

We close the job out

Final inspection signed, panel legibly labeled, site cleaned up. An open permit is a problem you inherit — we do not leave them.

Common questions

About us, specifically

Who am I actually talking to when I call?

The electrician. There is no dispatch center, no call-taker reading a script, and no lead-generation middleman selling your phone number to four companies. You call 253-268-6287 and you talk to the person who will be at your house.

What is your license number and how do I check it?

Washington electrical contractor license OSHIETB778P8, with certified 01 administrator OSHIETB750DR and UBI 605-804-596, operating as Creative Consultations LLC dba CC Electric out of Federal Way. Look it up in the Washington State L&I "Verify a Contractor" tool — it will show license status, bond and insurance. Do this for every contractor you consider.

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes. Washington requires licensed electrical contractors to maintain a surety bond and liability insurance, and ours are current. Certificates are available on request before work starts.

Do you subcontract the work out?

No. Work is done by a licensed Washington journeyman, not a helper left alone on site. That is the main reason we do not pretend to cover the entire state.

What size jobs do you take?

Anything from a single dead outlet up to commercial-scale residential — apartments, condos, townhome blocks and multi-family — which our license and administrator credentials allow. We also read blueprints and coordinate with GCs without drama, which is a bigger differentiator than it should be.
