Federal Way is home base. Most calls here get seen the same day. Panels, EV chargers, generators, remodel wiring and the kind of troubleshooting that actually finds the problem.
Federal Way is where CC Electric is based, so it is the shortest drive we make. The city's housing stock is mostly 1960s through 1990s single-family — Twin Lakes, Mirror Lake, Steel Lake, Adelaide, Lakota and the Dash Point side — which means a very predictable set of electrical problems: 100-amp services that were sized before anyone owned two EVs, original aluminum branch wiring in the late-'60s tract homes, and panels that have run out of physical space long before they ran out of amps.

Federal Way is our home city, so it is the area where we can most often get out the same day — especially for no-power, burning-smell or tripping-breaker calls. Call 253-268-6287 and you will talk to the electrician, not a dispatch center.
Federal Way does not run its own electrical inspection program, so electrical permits and inspections here go through the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. We pull the L&I permit under our own contractor license and meet the inspector — you do not have to take a day off work to sit at the house.
Not automatically. The honest answer comes from a load calculation, not a guess. Plenty of 1970s Federal Way homes are fine at 100 amps with a heat pump and a modest EV charger if the charger is load-managed. If you are adding a heat pump, an EV and a hot tub, 200 amps is usually the cheaper long-term move because it is one permit and one utility coordination instead of three.
Puget Sound Energy. If a service upgrade or a meter move is part of the job, the PSE coordination is on us — we handle the application, the scheduling and the inspection sign-off.
More general Washington electrical questions — permits, code, costs, inspections — are answered on the electrical FAQ page.
